First batch of Reading Comprehension and Changemakers Course completed in The Multilingual Education Course aims to develop conceptual understanding about effective approaches and strategies for multilingual education. Participants who complete this course would be able to support children who come from a different home language background to develop strong oral language and literacy skills in the school language by first building a foundation in the home language.
The state project involves capacity building of school teachers in teaching of Hindi language in early grades and field-based implementation of a learning improvement programme in selected districts. Through this project 3, teachers and teacher educators will have improved teaching-learning process. It includes a study research component. To address the issues that have emerged out of the prevailing diversified language situation, LLF is also supporting the state government in development of a policy on MLE and also in development of workshops and a 4 month course on MLE.
